Wonderful Part-time Nanny Needed for Family in Mount Kisco, NY

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm (30 hours a week)
Compensation: $27-$35/hr, depending on experience. This is a Payroll position

A loving family in Mount Kisco, NY, is searching for a flexible, energetic nanny for their twin daughters, who are 11 years of age. The ideal candidate has experience working with school-age children and can manage their daily schedule that may shift. The candidate must also be able to create a fun, energetic, and safe environment for their daughters. One of the daughters is dyslexic, so it is important that they find a nanny that is great at communicating.

The nanny should be punctual, proactive, a quick learner, self-motivated, and able to solve problems independently. The candidate must also have a clean driver’s license, as the nanny will need to transport the girl to after school and other daily activities. The family travels to a location two hours from their home every July.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
● Prioritize safety at all times.
● Maintain a clean environment for the children.
● Adhere to the parenting styles and childcare philosophies of the families.
● Helping with child-related household tasks such as tidying, organizing of children’s areas, and occasional errands
● Managing the children’s schedules and scheduling appointments
● Doing the Kids’ laundry and organizational projects.
● Planning fun age-appropriate activities and outings, homework help
● Playing with the kids, assisting with bathing and bedtime routines, running errands,
● Transporting the children from school to after-school activities

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Proficiency in caring for school-age children.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
Valid Driver’s License
Comfortable around pets
