Temp Nanny Needed for Family in Manhattan, NY

Families Location: New York, NY
Number of children and Age: 1 child, 2.5 months old daughter.
Type of Position: Full time, Live out. Must be flexible.
Schedule: Days under discussion, 8:30 am to 6:30 pm
Compensation & benefits: $30-$35/hr. ($1200-$1750/wk) DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays and 5 sick days.).
Start Date: Mid-February 2025.
Travel Required: No

Family Overview
A loving family from New York, NY, is seeking a loving, trustworthy nanny for their 2.5 months old daughter for 6 months. The ideal candidate must have experience in providing care to newborns and infants and must assist with fulfilling all their daughter’s developmental milestones. The nanny should be nurturing, creative, experienced, organized, a quick learner, self-motivated, and able to solve problems independently. The parents prefer a nanny who would read to her and can provide their daughter with lots of affection. Performing household tasks such as light housekeeping, dishes, and bottle cleaning & making is needed.


Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Prioritize safety and maintain a clean environment for their daughter, adhering to the families' parenting styles and childcare philosophies. Engage their daughter in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, and encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities.
Manage daily routines, including mealtime, nap, and play schedules for their daughter. Perform related duties such as laundry, tidying children's areas, organizing toys and books, and maintaining diaper bags.

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for newborns and infants.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
