Spirited, Warm-Hearted Nanny Needed in Jersey City

Family’s Location: Jersey City, NY
Ages of children: 2 kids, 3 years old and 6 years old.
Type of Position: Live-Out, Full-time Nanny Position
Schedule: Monday-Friday, from 9 am - 5 pm
Compensation & Benefits: The family is offering $25-$35. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays and 5 sick days.)
Start Date: The position begins as soon as they find the right fit for them.
Additional Info: Family has a 10 year old cat that’s super friendly.

A loving family in Jersey City, NJ is looking for a gentle, amazing nanny for their 3-year-old and 6-year-old children. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has many years of experience working with preschoolers and School-aged children. Someone who is calm, soft-spoken, and passionate about childcare and child development. The candidate should be tech-savvy, able to create an engaging, happy, and stimulating atmosphere for their children. The nanny must be proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently.

Position Responsibilities:
Prioritize safety at all times, maintain a clean environment for the children. Engage children in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts. Encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities. Manage the children’s daily routines, setting up playdates, and keeping track of nap times. Meal preparation and clean ups, perform related duties such as the children’s laundry, tidying the children’s areas, organizing toys/books, and maintaining diaper bags.

Qualifications:
Legal authorization to work in the US.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Proficiency in caring for Preschoolers and School-aged children
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications.
Comfortable around cats
