Type of Position: Part-time, Live out.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, from 1:30 pm - 7:30 pm (30 hrs.).
Compensation & benefits: $30-$35/hr. ($900-$1050/wk) DOE. PTO (2 weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays, and 5 sick days.)
Start Date: 09/08/2024
Travel Required: No traveling.
Additional info: The oldest daughter is ASD, so it is important that this candidate is engaged and loving.
Family Overview
A loving family of four, relocating from Los Angeles to Dobbs Ferry, NY, is seeking a patient and punctual nanny for their two daughters. The ideal candidate should have experience caring for young children, particularly toddlers and preschoolers, with the oldest being on the light autism spectrum. The nanny should be kind, nurturing, organized, a quick learner, self-motivated, and capable of solving problems independently. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, such as taking out the trash, doing laundry, washing dishes (loading/unloading dishwasher), and preparing meals for the children. Assisting with after-dinner bathtime is also needed. The nanny must be able to pick up the children from school and to/from other scheduled after-school activities.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prioritize safety and maintain a clean environment for the daughters, adhering to the family’s parenting styles and childcare philosophies. Engage the children in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts.
Manage daily routines, including scheduling activities for the daughters and preparing meals. Perform related duties such as laundry, tidying the children’s areas and kitchen, and organizing toys and books.
Qualifications:
● Legally authorized to work in the United States.
● A minimum of 3 years of professional Household Manager experience.
● Experience in caring for toddlers and Pre-K children.
● Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
● CPR and First-Aid certifications
