Part-Time Housekeeper Needed for Family in the West Orange, NJ

Families Location: West Orange, NJ
Type of Position: Part-time 2-7pm
Schedule: Hours are under discussion (25-30 hrs.).
Compensation & benefits: $25-$32/hr. (DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays, and 5 sick days.).

Family Overview
A loving family from West Orange, NJ, is seeking a part-time Housekeeper who can occasionally assist with childcare. The family has a 10-month-old infant son and the housekeeper will be expected to pick up their son from the daycare that’s near their residence. Performing household tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and organizing is needed. One of the parents works from home but will travel to work from time-to-time.

Housekeeping Duties:
Occasionally assist with childcare.
Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and floors
Clean and organize kitchen areas, including countertops, appliances, and dishwashing
Change bed linens and make beds
Wash, fold, and organize laundry as needed
Maintain an organized and tidy environment in all rooms
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately
Other housekeeping duties as requested

Qualifications:
● Legally authorized to work in the United States.
● A minimum of 2 years of professional nanny experience.
● A minimum of 3 years of professional housekeeping experience.
● Experience in caring for infants and toddlers.
● Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
● CPR and First-Aid certifications
