Families Location: Upper West Side, NY
Number of children and Age: 1 child, 6 months.
Type of Position: Full-time, Live out.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-5 pm (45 hrs)
Compensation & Benefits: $28-$32/hr. DOE. Metrocard, PTO (two weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays, and five sick days).
Start Date: Mid November 2024
Travel Required: no.
Pets: Must like dogs
 
 
Family Overview
A loving family from the Upper West Side, NY, is seeking a caring, nurturing nanny for their 6 months old newborn daughter. The ideal candidate must have infant experience, assisting with her first-year developmental milestones. The nanny should be loving, organized, a quick learner, self-motivated, and able to solve problems independently. Performing household task such as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation related to childcare. The nanny will have to take her to local classes, parks, and other playtime activities.
 
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Prioritize safety and maintain a clean environment for their daughter, adhering to the families' parenting styles and childcare philosophies. Engage their daughter in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, and encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities. 
* Manage daily routines, including tracking feeding, nap, and play schedules for their daughter, and handling their feedings and the introduction of solids. Perform related duties such as laundry, tidying baby's areas, organizing toys and books, and maintaining diaper bags.
* Huge plus if the candidate has experience working on the UWS, however, important that they are able to research/ recommend music classes, local activities for socialization and play dates 


Qualifications: 
* Legally authorized to work in the United States.
* A minimum of 4 years of professional nanny experience.
* Experience in caring for newborns, and infants.
* Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
* CPR and First-Aid certifications
