Family’s Location: Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY
Ages of children: 19 months old, occasionally care for 6-year-olds twins
Type of Position: Live-Out, Full-time, Nanny Position
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM. (50hrs. a week.)
Compensation & Benefits: $35-$40 an hour. PTO (2 weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays, and 5 sick days.)
Start Date: ASAP
Additional Info: Comfortable working with work-from-home parents, and around dogs. This is a payroll position.

A loving family in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY, seeks an experienced Spanish-speaking nanny for their 19-month-old. While the family also has 6-year-old twins, the primary focus will be on the toddler. The ideal candidate should have experience with both toddlers and school-age children, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment. Since their daughter is bilingual, it is essential for the candidate to continue speaking with her in Spanish. The nanny must be communicative, creative, proactive, a self-starter, and able to troubleshoot independently. Additionally, as one parent works from home, candidates must be comfortable with a work-from-home parent.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prioritizing safety at all times.
Maintaining a clean, calm, and nurturing environment for the children's optimal growth.
Adhering to the families' parenting styles and childcare philosophies.
Engaging children in activities fostering intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, while encouraging milestones.
Facilitating social interaction through playdates and group activities.
Ability to prepare meals for the children, including cooking for toddler.
Keeping the children's bedroom and play areas tidy.
Giving occasional baths to the toddler.
Picking up the school aged children from their after-school activities.
Performing household tasks on occasion such as dropping off cleaning, returning library books, assisting with light housekeeping.

Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 3 years of professional Nanny experience
Proficiency in caring for toddlers and school-age children
COVID vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
Comfortable around dogs
Spanish Speaker
