Families Location: Westport, CT
Number of children and Age: 2 children, 10 months and 2.5 years old.
Type of Position: Full-time, live-in. M-F or 7 days a week.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:45 am- 6:45 pm (60 hrs.).
Compensation & Benefits: $1800-$2400/wk) DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays, and 5 sick days.).
Accommodations: Private room and bath. Use of family car to take children around

A busy family in Westport, CT, is seeking a nurturing, patient nanny for their 2 children ages 2.5 years old and 8 months old. The ideal candidate should have experience caring for multiple children. The nanny should be loving, organized, a quick learner, self-motivated, and able to solve problems independently. Daily tasks such as light housekeeping, shopping, children’s laundry, dishes, and making meals are needed. Must have a clean driving record.
The ideal candidate can work independently to manage two children. The parents are very busy professionals, so an individual who is proactive and organized would excel in this role.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of their children
Adhere to their children’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, and any plan playdates and after-school activities.)
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, overlooking any schoolwork, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping their children active and engage
Ability to make nutritious meals for their children.
Laundry for their children.
Ability to potty training children
Manage all aspects of their children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.
Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Clean driver license
A minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for infants and toddlers.
Up-to-date vaccinations.
CPR and First-Aid certifications
