Live in Nanny Needed for Family in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, NY

Families Location: Carroll Gardens
Number of children and Age: 2 children, 10 years old, and 3 years old.
Type of Position: Full time, Mon-Fri, live-in preferred but optional. Must be flexible.
Schedule: Monday – Fridays, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (minimum of 60 hrs.).
Compensation & benefits: $27-$35/hr. ($1620-$2100/wk) DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays and 5 sick days.). Private bed and bath for live-in option. Medical Stipend.
Start Date: ASAP.
Travel Required: 6-8 weeks in the Hamptons during the Summer. Nanny can go home on the weekends.

Someone with proven experience working with both preschoolers and school-age children. The ideal candidate should be loving, calm, organized, and possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. A clean driving record and swimming ability are strongly preferred. Must be comfortable traveling with the family.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

The nanny’s primary responsibilities will focus on the children's safety, including preparing meals, managing their laundry, taking children to and from school.
The role also involves accompanying the children to local parks, museums, and other enriching activities.
When the children are in school, the nanny will assist with household tasks such as grocery shopping, light housekeeping, organizing the children’s belongings, and dishwashing.

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for Pre-K and school age children.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
