Number of children and Age: 1 child, infant
Type of Position: Full time, Live out, must be flexible.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm with flexibility required.
Compensation & benefits: $35-$45/hr. DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays and 5 sick days.). Health insurance stipend.
Start Date: ASAP.
Travel Required: Traveling is not required.
Additional info: Must love dogs. May be required to help family with dog. This is a long-term opportunity.

A warm and welcoming family in Soho, New York, is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Mother's Helper/Nanny to join their household team. The family currently has one child, a newborn who is just 3 weeks old. The primary focus of this role will be helping the mom with the newborn and assisting with household operations, with occasional childcare responsibilities, such as caring for the baby when the mother attends appointments or is out. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys a blend of household management and providing nurturing support to a growing family.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy home (note: the family employs a housekeeper).
Prepare and sanitize baby bottles.
Change bassinet/crib linens and assist with the baby’s laundry.
Provide light cooking and meal preparation.
Run errands as needed.
You must love dogs. The family has a small, adorable dog, and you must be comfortable occasionally assisting with it.
Exhibit honesty, diligence, responsibility, courtesy, and discretion.
Bring a positive, pleasant personality and high energy to the role.
Enjoy spending time with babies and toddlers, with a strong understanding of developmental milestones.
Manage household inventory and restock items and supplies both in-person and online.
Maintain and coordinate the family calendar.
Plan and organize special events, including birthdays, holidays, luncheons, and other celebrations.
Assist with travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, restaurant reservations, itinerary creation, sightseeing, and wardrobe planning.
Handle extensive holiday shopping, including purchasing, wrapping, coordinating deliveries, and confirming receipt.
Conduct research as requested by the family.
Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 5+ years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for infants
Household Manager experience
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
Plus if you can drive
