Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 7:00 pm (55 hours)
Compensation & Benefits: The family offers $30-$35/hr. There will be an increase in comp when Nanny becomes responsible for the newborn. This is a payroll position PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays and 5 sick days.)
Number of Kids: 2 children, 5 years old, and newborn expected in October (NCS for 6 month).
Start: The position begins as soon as they find the right fit for them.
Travel Required: Family travels to Miami, the Hamptons and other travels. The candidate should be willing to accompany the family.

A loving family in Brooklyn Heights is seeking a patient, nurturing nanny for their 5-year-old and a newborn expected in October. This position is ideal for someone with experience working with multiple children and familiarity with the developmental milestones associated with various age groups. Someone who can combine fun and engaging atmosphere each day will be a wonderful addition to their team.
The candidate should be punctual, proactive, quick learner, self-motivation, and the ability to independently solve problems. The ideal candidate has a pitch in attitude and will be with the family for a long time. Lastly, the candidate should be willing to accompany the family to Miami during school breaks and to the Hamptons for a month in the summer. The nanny will live in during the week and go home on weekends. Strong Preference for a candidate that can swim and drive.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prioritize safety and maintain a clean environment for the children, adhering to the families' parenting styles and childcare philosophies. Engage the children in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, and encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities.
Manage daily routines, including tracking feeding, nap, and play schedules for the newborn, preparing meals for the 5-year-old, and handling newborn feedings and the introduction of solids. Perform related duties such as laundry, tidying children's areas, organizing toys and books, and maintaining diaper bags.
Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 4 years of professional nanny experience.
Proficiency in caring for newborns and school-age children.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certification
Strong Preference for a candidate that can swim and drive.
