Experienced Nanny Needed for Infant in Greenwich Village

LOCATION: Manhattan, NY & Norfolk, CT
SALARY: $33.75/hour gross pay
CHILDREN: 11 month-old girl
START DATE: asap
SCHEDULE 5-6 days/week (must be flexible; 1-2 weekend days each week)
7:30am - 5:30pm (start and stop-time is flexible, nanny will work
some late nights)
DRIVING REQUIRED: NO, advantageous if possible
TRAVEL REQUIRED: YES (national & international, several weeks each year)
PETS: DOG (medium-sized, friendly dog)
A loving family is looking for an experienced nanny for their 11-month-old daughter. They are looking for someone with experience caring for infants and toddlers, possessing a deep understanding of child developmental milestones and the ability to create a nurturing and enriching environment for young children. The ideal nanny must be warm, patient, reliable, proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently.
DUTIES
Care for 11-month-old girl (including but not limited to bathing, changing, bottle preparation & feeding, potty training, maintaining sleep/nap schedule) Age-appropriate play & learning activities (reading books, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play) Bringing her to/from park, activities and classes, on walks. Arranging playdates with other nannies and nearby families
Light housekeeping, laundry, cooking/meal preparation etc. when not caregiving
REQUIREMENTS
Competent English speaker (Hindi speaking is advantageous)
Ability to work evenings and weekends
Comfortable with flexible schedule
Comfortable traveling nationally and internationally
Comfortable with active but friendly family dog in home
Willing and able to work as an official employee
Willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
Seeking a long-term position with family
Experience with multiple children
REIMBURSEMENT
$33.75/hour (gross pay)
Stipend towards medical insurance & 401k retirement plan (eligible after 3 months)
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee), 5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
Paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
