
Engaging Spanish Speaking Nanny
Downtown Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (45-hours a week)
Compensation: $27-$30/hr, and $35 when the infant is in the nanny's care. This is a Payroll position.
Number of Kids: 1 child, 2 years old and newborn on the way
Start: 04/2025, but the family will hire sooner.
Travel Required: No

The Family’s Overview:
A loving family in Brooklyn, NY, are in search of a dedicated, Spanish speaking nanny for their 2-year-old son and infant on the way. The ideal candidate will be experienced in caring for infants and toddlers. Also, the candidate must be able to create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment for their son. Note, this is a Spanish speaking household, so being fluent in Spanish and English is important. Additional hours may be required with notice. So, the ideal candidate is someone who is flexible.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, punctuality, proactivity, self-motivation, and the ability to independently solve problems. When their son is in school, the candidate would be comfortable doing light housework and running errands like grocery shopping.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prioritize safety at all times.
Maintain a clean environment for their children.
Adhere to the parenting styles and childcare philosophies of the family.
Engage their son in activities that promote his intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts.
Encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities.
Manage their children’s daily routines including meals, playdates, and nap times.
Preparing healthy meals for their son
Perform related duties such as laundry, tidying children’s areas, organizing toys/books, and maintaining diaper bags.
Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 4 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience caring for infants and toddlers.
Proficient in Speaking Spanish & English
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
