Engaging, Compassionate Nanny Needed in Short Hills, NJ

Family’s Location: Short Hills, NJ
Ages of children: 1 kid, a 4-month-old.
Type of Position: Live-Out, Full-time Nanny Position
Schedule: Monday-Friday, from 8 am - 6 pm
Compensation & Benefits: The family is offering $28-$35 an hour. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays and 5 sick days.)
Start Date: September 1st.


A loving family in Short Hills, NJ, is looking for a gentle, amazing nanny for their 4-month-old daughter. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has many years of experience working with infants and toddlers. Someone who is calm, soft-spoken, and passionate about their child’s development milestone. The candidate should be able to create an engaging and stimulating atmosphere for their baby, involving activities such as reading books, playing music, dancing, finding age-appropriate activities, taking the baby for walks, and more. The nanny must be proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently.

Position Responsibilities:
Prioritize safety at all times, maintain a clean environment for the children. Able to sterilize bottles, chew toys, and breast pump. Feeding and changing baby's diapers. Helping with the bedtime routine. Engage baby in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts. Encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities. Manage the baby’s daily routines, setting up playdates, and keeping track of nap times. Potty training, Meal preparation and clean ups, perform related duties such as the children’s laundry, tidying the children’s areas, organizing toys/books, and maintaining diaper bags.

Qualifications:
Legal authorization to work in the US.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Proficiency in caring for infants and toddlers
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications.
