Families Location: Upper West Side, Manhattan, NY
Number of children and Age: 2 children, 4.5 years old, and a 7-month-old.
Type of Position: Full-time, live out. It must be flexible.
Schedule: Monday – Fridays 8 am-6 pm (50 hrs with the flexibility to work up to 53).
Compensation & Benefits: $32-$38/hr. ($1650-$2090/wk GROSS) DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays, and 5 sick days.). Discretionary year end bonus. Monthly Metrocard
Start Date: 01/06/2024 with some flexibility for a later date in January
Travel Required: Some travel. The family lives near the west end area of the Upper West Side. Nanny must be comfortable traveling with the little on the bus to school
Additional info: This is a long-term opportunity, and the family prefers candidates with a proven history of long-term commitments to previous families.

Family Overview
A warm and loving family on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, NY, is seeking a professional and dependable nanny to care for their two children: a 4.5-year-old son and a 7-month-old baby daughter. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with multiple children close in age within the same family, a strong understanding of developmental milestones, and the ability to tailor their care to each child’s unique needs. The family is looking for a nanny who is engaging, highly organized, self-motivated, a good and open communicator, and capable of independent problem-solving. As this is a traditional household, the candidate should be polished, and adept at maintaining a high standard of care and conduct.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Prioritize safety and maintain a clean environment for their children, adhering to the families' parenting styles and childcare philosophies.
Engage their children in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, and encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities.
Taking children to the playground, museum, and other playtime activities.
Picking up the older child after school.
Manage daily routines, including tracking feeding, nap, and play schedules for their children.
Bottle cleaning & preparation of solid food, and creating healthy meal for older child.
Doing the children’s laundry
Perform related duties such as laundry, tidying children’s areas, organizing toys and books, and maintaining diaper bags.

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Amazing long-term track record as a professional nanny
A minimum of 7+ years of verifiable professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for infants, toddlers, and Pre-schoolers
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
