Busy Family on the UES Seeks Experienced Nanny for Infant Twins

Families Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan, NY
Number of children and Age: infant twins.
Type of Position: Full-time, live out. Must be flexible.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, from 9 am - 6 pm
Compensation & Benefits: $28-$40 PTO (2 weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays, and 5 sick days.).
Start Date: March 1st. However the role begins when the family finds the right fit.

A loving and busy family on the Upper East Side is looking for a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their twin babies, who will be 5 months old when the position begins. They are seeking someone with a strong background in working with infants, particularly twins or children close in age, and a clear understanding of developmental milestones for this age group. The family is ideally looking for someone who can transition from part-time to full-time, but they are specifically seeking a full-time commitment starting March 1st. The nanny should have experience with infants and knowledge of developmental milestones. Familiarity with the Upper East Side area. Knowledge of local classes and activities, and the ability to create social opportunities for the twins. Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prioritize children’s safety first and respect families’ parenting styles and childcare philosophies.
Provide nurturing care during the day for a newborn, ensuring that all physical and emotional needs are met.
Assist with baby-related household tasks, such as baby sterilizing bottles, cleaning toys, laundry, and other baby items.
Engage their infants in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, and encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities.
Manage daily routines, including mealtime, nap, and play schedules for their son.
Ability to transition infants to solid food.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Experience in caring for infant twins or children close in age
Must be able to prepare healthy, simple meals
CPR and First-Aid certifications
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
